rx3, a Department of the Environment initiative, was established to stimulate the creation of markets for recycled materials. rx3 is examining a number of initiatives to stimulate growth and to facilitate development in the sector. Examples of these initiatives include:- an indigenous recycled product and reprocessor database.- the development of a compost quality assurance scheme- an all island plastics waste arising study- funding for feasibility studies
