The Statewide Fitness & Wellness Program of New Jersey is a non-profit association serving special populations in our community of Lyndhurst, NJ and throughout the state of New Jersey. We provide free Zumba classes specialized to accommodate any age and any activity level, and an inclusive, supportive community. Our goal is to improve the physical, emotional, and social well-being of need-based individuals and families in New Jersey through fitness classes, wellness resources, and the community our program creates. Our definition of need-based extends to anyone who finds hardship in physical disability, intellectual disability, aging, cancer, domestic abuse, and economic trouble. Our founders, Natalia Novoa and her mother Mercedes Novoa, began the SFWPNJ in 2018. Since then we have watched our participants build healthier lifestyles, meaningful friendships, and personal confidence.
