Located in the creative hub of Out of the Blue Drill Hall, the Precious Metals Workshop provides high quality workshop facilities for professional jewellers, silversmiths and the general public.Established in 2010 by luxury product designer Ian Nicholson, the aim of the workshop was to create a community of makers, where they could share their knowledge and skills as well as their tools. We provide a range of specialised equipment including a large kiln, barrel polisher, fly press, draw bench, etching tanks, casting equipment and plating facilities to support both our emerging and established makers.
