We at The Listening Tree are passionate about helping children to be the best they can be in school and to give them skills and strategies to support them throughout their lives. We would like to make a difference to the whole school community by supporting you the school, the parents and most of all the children by improving their mental health.With the ever-growing need for mental health support, the demand for government services is so high they have waiting lists which are extremely long. In turn, this can lead to further decline in children's wellbeing and adds pressure onto the teachers who are already stretched with the normal day to day running's of a school.This is where we can help! We can offer an in-house counselling service working 1-1 with children and/or in small groups depending on the need. Our counsellors are qualified, insured and have an Enhanced DBS and bring with them a wealth of knowledge and experience. They can also offer support to parents and teachers. How we can help your school! - We organise sessions with the children around your school day. - Liaise directly with parents and teachers and highlight any additional support which may come to light. - We look after all our counsellors which means that you don't have the added pressure of additional employed staff. - We can provide a simple direct service for heads of year referrals.- We can offer support for anxiety, bereavement, family issues, SEND support, behaviour management strategies and many more.If any of this sounds familiar to you feel free to get in touch with us, we're always here to listen!
