Dr. Luana Rodriguez is a Certified Nurse-Midwife with over 30 years experience in the public, private and federal sectors. She is actively engaged in culturally-sensitive and trauma-informed care practices to support diverse groups affected by trauma, with a special focus on Women and children's health issues. She is also a certified ACE and Heart Math Trainer and a Clinical Trauma Professional. She feels strongly about the need to destigmatize the effects of trauma and support mental health by focusing on the children to break the cycle of transgenerational trauma. Dr. Rodriguez is also the author of an e-book called "Orenda Dawn: A Transformative Approach in the Healthcare of Diverse Groups Affected by Trauma."
