TBZ srl. is a specialized engineering company for developing low energy consumption buildings in hot regions, with very low energy demands of 30kWh/m2 or lower, reaching in some times zero net energy demands. The Company is not only qualified to accredit Passive House Certifications but is also actively involved in the education sector, promoting the culture of energy efficient buildings at universities and colleges in various European countries. Its current investigation projects include two European projects: CEPH – Certified European Passive House Planer, and RenovEnergy – a socio-economical study concerning the social barriers of energetic retrofitting practice.Since 2007, TBZ organizes the annual Passive House conference in Italy, and in 2009, Micheel Wassouf (TBZ-Spain) organized the first Spanish Passive House conference in Barcelona.TBZ have published widely on the subject of energy efficient architecture, including the catalogue of Italian PH conferences, "Passivhaus" in collaboration with the University of Florence.
