Through my time as a Physiotherapist I have learnt there is no substitute for feeling well, and we as humans all have a right to feel good, regardless of illness, disability or circumstance. I specialise in more complex cases, where people have had limited success with previous Physio's, and employ a patient centred wellness approach to my practice. I like to use my knowledge of how the body works, as well as unique problem solving and equipment design, to help whatever problem we're working on. I have experience in all aspects of physiotherapy, from geriatric care to paediatric development. I have first hand manual therapy experience for a number of sensory profiles and am able to work together to ensure the most specific and focused care. I have understanding of the role that mental health plays with regards to how patients present to physiotherapists, and the barriers these can lead to in treatments. Having received numerous training around mental health awareness and understanding, I am empathetic to the struggles that mental health can and inevitably will play in someones healthcare. My only goal is to figure out how to improve your quality of life, and will make every effort to do so.
