At Onset & Rime, we make premium scented soy candles for people who love books. Each scent is thoughtfully designed to evoke scenes, characters, places and themes from your favourite stories. Imagine what Green Gables might actually smell like during October and what scents would be floating in the air at a Mad Tea Party.We want our customers to find themselves as lost in our scents as they are in the books they read. To help alleviate that feeling of slight (or deep) despair when a book you love is over. And we want to support our community and environment while we're at it.Founded in June 2020 by sisters, Jackie and Michelle, out of a mutual love for books. Jackie is a learning addict with two Bachelor of Science degrees and aspirations to go to school forever. She's an avid reader (her room is basically a library), so books became a natural inspiration for scent ideas.Michelle is a marketing and business professional with a decade of experience in the field. She's a bit of a numbers geek and loves a good spreadsheet. Michelle is also a huge fan of fantasy novels, with a soft spot for strong female characters.
