One Ocean's mission is to be involved in scientific research on the Atlantic coast by participating and financing various research projects and degree courses (Bachelor, Master's Degree and PhD) and, ultimately, offering its own expertise in the field.The main theme remains cetology (study of cetaceans), but other research topics will be addressed by the organization. In addition, the research results obtained will be published in specialized conferences as well as in scientific journals. A partnership with other research structures will be set up to share the data collected in the knowledge base.This way, a knowledge network can be established.
