Rudolph Ake founded Olympia Swimming Pool Company in 1982 (originally named Olympic Swimming Pool Company). The business quickly outgrew its original location in Springfield, Virginia and in 1987 moved to its current 28,000 sq. ft. facility in Forestville, Maryland.Since its inception over 34 years ago, Olympia has become one of the largest commercial swimming pool companies on the East Coast.
