The artistic expression, apparent in the work of Naida Begeta, presents a designer with clear artistic and aesthetic sensibility. The formal aspect of her individual voice has its origins and actualisation in the line. The line structures and builds surfaces and with surfaces she conquers spaces and gives them a functional sense. Her structured surfaces, understood as semiotic signs, are images of their own. When abstracted in the experiential and narrative distance, these images can be landscapes, bodies of water, images of falling rain, moments of snowfall, moments in which light and darkness shift, leaves falling in autumn etc. or perhaps taken from our old traditions, small and tiny relics wrapped into crocheted scarves and preserved from the ravages of time. Naida successfully brings the traditional into the modern. She gives traditional patterns a modern physiognomy.
