JustHack is a hackathon for social change. Based on collaboration, solidarity, and empowerment, we aim to bring people together to tackle social issues by finding creative tech solutions. JustHack invites hackers, activists, students, community members, and creative thinkers to participate in building projects that will benefit their local communities.Everyone is welcome to bring their own ideas to JustHack or to work on a suggestion put forth by a community group. We are inviting speakers and grassroots organizations to talk about the unique perspectives and needs of marginalized communities within Montreal.JustHack is the place to learn about social issues and collaborate with fun, creative, and like-minded people. Participants of all skill levels are welcome, as long as you come with an open mind and readiness to learn! We are working hard to make JustHack as safe, inclusive, and accessible as possible. There will be a comprehensive list of accessibility principles available for all participants to look through.
