The Human Rights Coalition of Alachua County is a non-profit based inGainesville, Florida focused on collaborative and tangible projects servingimmigrants and other marginalized communities. At our core, we affirm Article I of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, "[w]e are all born free and equal in dignity and rights," andfocus on tangible efforts to address our community's rights to safety and equality regardless of their national origin, language, education level, income or social status, ethnic or racial identity, political opinion, and sex or gender identity.Our flagship program, the HRC ID, issues a local identification card, connecting people who lack state-issued identification with community resources such as healthcare and secure housing.
