Established in 2015, the Greenwich Men's Rugby Club competes in the Empire GU league which is a subset of USA Rugby. Above all, the program is aimed to promote the growth and the development of the sport by emphasizing game philosophy and its rules, sportsmanship and fair play.We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization through our partnership with the Old Greenwich Riverside Community Center. In 2003, the OGRCC began offering youth rugby and now boasts a program with over 200 young athletes on teams ranging from U-6 to U-16. Our goal is to become the final stage of evolution for rugby in the Town of Greenwich.
