Greenkeeper is a web-based analysis tool currently being developed to provide a common platform through which anyone guiding, delivering or influencing the shape of urban spaces can more fully understand the contribution green infrastructure – be it a single park or portfolio of provision – is making to urban life.To advance the current formulaic space standards often guiding greenspace provision, Greenkeeper utilises and interprets big data to more fully understand and measure the social, environmental and economic benefit urban greenspaces are delivering, while also providing insight to support investment and management decisions at all levels.
