Founded in 2005, the Greater Philadelphia Healthcare Partnership (GPHP) is a highly successful, Training Fund-sponsored healthcare sector initiative of more than 120 employers, academic, and workforce development partners, located throughout Philadelphia, Montgomery, Chester, and Delaware Counties, Southern New Jersey and Northern Delaware.Since its inception, GPHP has trained more than 5,000 incumbent workers and unemployed Greater Philadelphia residents, developed an extensive curriculum of professional development courses, sponsored annual symposia for the healthcare community, advocated for sector partnerships at the state and federal levels, and managed grant-funded training projects in partnership with Training Fund-contributing and non-contributing employer partners.
