A nonprofit organization called The Graphic Era Educational Society mobilizes top-notch education and raises funds to promote and provide high-quality education for everyone. The organization, which was founded in 1996, acknowledges everyone's right to live with dignity and respect for themselves in a just and equal manner. Society understands the need to develop and support young people's limitless potential in order to improve the quality of their lives, strengthen the economy and society, and negotiate in life from a position of strength that would come from having received an intelligent education and being able to engage in wonderful, soul-satisfying work. In accordance with an act of the Uttarakhand State, Graphic Era Hill University was founded on April 28, 20111 under the auspices of Graphic Era Educational Society, with the goal of transforming it into an internationally renowned, inquiry-driven, ethically engaged destination university with a diverse community, whose members collaborate to positively transform the world through cutting-edge teaching, research, and social awareness. The University provides both the ideals and sensitivities required to become responsible global citizens, as well as the information and skills necessary to flourish as professionals. Under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956, the University's degrees are accepted by the UGC. In an effort to provide everyone with access to a high-quality education, Graphic Era Hill University has two campuses: Dehradun and Bhimtal.
