Since its incorporation in 2015, Grand Philharmonic Orchestra (GPO), UK, has been very busy delivering two very high profile Bollywood concerts in Dubai and London. The Orchestra specialise in playing new works inspired and arrange from existing World Music repertoire. With the mission to bring orchestral music to an audience, who may not otherwise go to an orchestral concert, there are exciting projects in the pipeline for 2016/17. GPO Founders Rony Ghosh and Jatanil Banerjee, strongly believes in collaborating and experimenting with music and musicians. Star TV, India, has recently broadcasted a documentary about GPO's work with Bollywood singing sensation Arijit Singh for the much talked about London Wembley Arena show in June 2015. GPO has the vision of bridging the gap between orchestral and non-orchestral music by integrating different styles within the orchestral repertoire. The Orchestra has in house team of arrangers and copyists for preparing high quality professional scores.
