At the GNC, our vision is to empower youth to value knowledge and skills that will support them as life-long learners and practice core values like respect, kindness, inclusion, and excellence.With our focus on education equity, working with many who have English as a second or even third language, we recognize each individual has a unique potential and redefine the definition of success because achievement looks different for every learner. Whether their choice is to practice academics in workbooks, activities, in a one-on-one tutoring session or enjoy a read aloud, our objective is to build a safe community for learners who strive to excel.Like many, we do our best when we feel connected with others and have a full belly which is why we've partnered with Appetites for Change who provide a meal including a protein, grain, and vegetable during our days of operation, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings year-round from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
