Global Fashion Council (GFC) was founded by Anna la Germaine in 2019. GFC is an NGO whose primary goal is to give back to society worldwide through fashion-related projects. At the moment GFC is running two projects as part of this initiative: - Fashion Matters, a PR Agency that connects brands, celebrity stylists, celebrities, and influencers, and shares profits with charity organizations such as UNICEF. - Fashion Business Academy (FBA), a digital education platform for the fashion industry that empowers fashion designers, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts. FBA delivers a practical curriculum that enables new and existing brands to develop, manage and sustain their businesses. The curriculum provides crucial industry-sourced knowledge of the ins and outs of fashion entrepreneurship that may not be available in the programmes of fashion or business schools. This is especially relevant in today's fashion and luxury industry, given the rapid growth of boutique agencies offering various services in fashion and luxury, as well as large amount of small brands launches.
