Friends of the University is a community of non-paid supporters who elevate the University of California in Sacramento politics. Since our founding in 2020, we have generated an enthusiastic group of leaders in the state capital who recognize the value of the world's best public education system, a system that is at risk as state budgets tighten. Friends of the University understands the revolving door in Sacramento, and with our network of informed and experienced advocates, we drive conversations about the needs of California's students, research, and care-providers in state politics.
