The Forum de Défense et de Stratégie seeks to provide exchange platforms for European actors who work in the defence sector or in international relations. Seminars are regularly offered to bring together high-quality speakers and participants from several professional backgrounds: diplomats, soldiers, politicians, employees from defence-related industries, university professors, PhD students, experts from think tanks. We believe that the Franco-German cooperation is the basis of any sound and viable project for the development of a European defence capacity (and thus for a European strategic autonomy). This is true despite the fact that there are disagreements between Paris and Berlin. Our events aim at favouring meetings and exchange between speakers and participants from France and Germany. They also associate people coming from other EU countries and the Atlantic Alliance.
