ForJake Corp is a 501c non-profit organization that has been established by Jill and Joe Gallerani in memory of their son Jake. Jake was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer just before his 10th birthday in July 2012. As he did on the baseball diamond, Jake battled valiantly with everything he had to beat this terrible disease. Unfortunately, Jake lost his battle on February 17, 2014. Jake's passion was baseball. He played every game to win and as hard as he could. Jill and Joe want to honor his memory by building a baseball field in the town of Uxbridge. It is their way to not only remember Jake, but give back to the community for everything that was done while Jake battled his disease. Their goal is to have a special place where other children can fulfill their dream of playing baseball.
