The First Presbyterian Church of Myrtle Beach welcomes you! We are an active, vital congregation reaching out to help one another and all of God's children here in our community and wherever help is needed around the world! Whether you are a long-time Grand Strand resident or a first-time visitor, we look forward to providing you with a church home and spiritual guidance. We are a church of the Presbyterian Church (USA), the Synod of South Atlantic, and the Presbytery of New Harmony. The governing body is the Session, which is composed of 30 elders elected by the congregation. The Session is divided into 16 committees. Each is made up of a staff person, an elder as moderator, and appointed members of the congregation.
