We expedite International Driving Permits (IDPs) for US drivers, allowing them to avoid having to go to AAA in person. Once an IDP application is uploaded on our website, we'll take it to AAA for processing and then ship the IDP to anywhere in the world. For broader context, an IDP is a document that is required to accompany your drivers license when driving in many countries around the world. AAA is the only organization authorized to issue IDPs in the US. If someone can't have their IDP application submitted in person, the only option AAA provides is to have it done by mail, which they advise can take 6-8 weeks. Our founder was frustrated by the long turnaround to get an IDP when he was already overseas and wanted to drive. So, when he came back to the US, he created Fast IDP to help process IDPs for other people who can't easily get to a AAA branch.
