Have You FUSAST Today? What's in our name, FUSAST? You shouldn't have seen this word before, and you may also wonder how it is pronounced. /F//u/-/s//æ//st/? This is probably the most reasonable pronunciation just based on the characters given, but hang on, there is more behind! This pronunciation also sounds like ‘breathing' in Mandarin, which is perfect because we believe art can breathe itself and is giving energy through its breathing. It was actually quite a headache when we tried to name our brand. Our mission to promote art throughout the world is determined and can be directly seen in our parent company's name, East-West Art Agency. With our genetic East-Asian originated in Taiwan, we hope to pull out all the stops to seed art, especially Post-Coronavirus Art, all over the world from FUSAST. Therefore, FUSAST was named under the combination of our three significant elements: (1) FUS - FUSION (2) A - ART (3) ST - the last two common letters of EAST and WEST /FUS//SAST/ (Fuse)(s:i:st) With the similar pronunciation to our Chinese brand name, '呼吸' (meaning breathing) and 'FUSAST' are different scores in their own right, yet to make a surprisingly harmonious symphony. Let's begin to FUSAST the Fusion of art from East to West, and to breathe Post-Coronavirus Art with us! 今天 FUSAST 呼吸了嗎？ 作為【東西方藝術經紀中心】的全球品牌，我們思考著：我們的品牌，要如何讓地表上所有人一聽到，就能印象深刻呢？ 於是，「呼吸」誕生了。 如果説一般呼吸，是為您的身體帶來氧氣； 那我們的「呼吸」，就是透過藝術，為生命帶來反思與昇華。 對應著呼吸的中文發音，我們取其異曲同工之妙，為「呼吸」自創了一個英文名字 – FUSAST。 是的，FUSAST 是個全新的單字，英文發音就像中文的「呼吸」。 以英文發音來看，這個詞很有 FU，叫做「FU 薩斯特」。以中文來看，我們相信藝術作品本身能夠呼吸。作為跨國藝術經紀人，我們的使命就是把會呼吸的藝術品傳遞出去，創造地表上更多的生命能量。 一開始，團隊成員們花了很多心思腦力激盪，希望這個名稱，不僅能夠將新興的「疫後藝術 Post-Coronavirus Art」推展至全世界，也能夠與母公司【東西方藝術經紀中心】的願景有所連結。 所以，「FUSAST 呼吸」就因此萌生於台灣，並期望在全球播下當代與疫後藝術的種子、生生不息。
