FNTM ARTS FEST is a new project that has been created in order to showcase the talent of those who self-identify as female, non-binary, or trans male. We seek to feature the work of groups which may experience disadvantages in the creative arts as a result of their gender in an inclusive and welcoming environment. Starting off as a predominantly theatre-focussed project, the FNTM ARTS FEST mission statement has grown. It now encompasses a wider range of artistic media, where women, non-binary and trans male people are involved as artists, poets, performers, directors, musicians, writers, podcast creators, producers, designers, and technicians. Through these projects, our aim is to present the artistic voices of our contributors in the way that they wish to be heard, not in the way that they are expected to be. We seek to provide a platform for these voices to be celebrated. These events have been produced by female, non-binary, and trans male creatives, but we invite anyone and everyone, regardless of their gender, to join in the celebration. FNTM ARTS FEST strives to generate an inclusive atmosphere in which all members of the Cambridge community, can come together to enjoy the range of events that we have on offer!
